Profiles – diverse and customized

Profiles with complex geometries have a wide range of applications in the field of automotive technology. These profiles meet the highest requirements regarding tolerances and mechanical-technological properties. The latest testing technologies ensure an optimal lifespan of the profiles.

Profiles are particularly suitable for use in sealing tapes and caulking wires in steam turbines or in generators.

Their properties include:

• low permeability
• highly corrosion and heat resistant
• drawn, bright drawn, and annealed, if required tinned 
• available as wire, profile, or bar

Proven materials include our special analyzes 1.4303SA, 1.4120YT, 1.4006YH, 1.4571TA, 1.4456CA, 1.4961PW or 2.4665KH.

Whether watches, jewelry, writing utensils, or other applications – we implement your customer-specific profile design.

What you can expect from us:

• anti-allergenic materials, e.g., our in-house nickel-free material 9.9007 
• homogeneous profile properties, e.g., for miniature components in mechanical watch mechanisms
• highly polishable material for visible parts 

Profiles can be supplied as semi-finished wire or straightened as bar.

Depending on the number of pieces, we also offer cut-to-length, cut, pre-bent, or individually embossed profiles.

Aviation profiles can be found, for example, in remote controls for safety devices. Fasteners made of titanium or Ti alloys are also increasingly used here.

Semi-finished profiles are required for implants or instruments:

• minimized machining effort thanks to near net shape profiles, e.g. for the production of bone plates
• ideal optical surfaces for visible parts (e.g., instrument shafts)
• high uniformity of the product (structure, mechanical properties, etc.) and, on request, limitation of certain values ​​for improved polishability and hardenability
• cutting to fixed lengths is possible

Complex and filigree profile geometries are desired in the optical industry. The surface of the profiles can be polished and/or structured.

Express Stock Programme

We meet the requirements of the manufacturers of filters and strainers. Round wire made of stainless steel, nickel and titanium alloys are semi-rounded into precision-rolled profiles such as triangles, squares or rectangles. Round wire can also be shaped into flat profiles or special profiles.
