Strip and wire in electronic engineering

A classic material in fine metal masks (FMM) for OLED screens is 1.3910 (Invar 36^®) with a high degree of purity.

Properties of the strip:

• stress-free
• high surface quality
• optimum flatness

Fiber optic cables require the following features in the production process:

• consistently high edge quality
• suitable for direct welding
• constant cutting quality for the customer's trimming process
• very good drawing properties due to increased Ni content

Trust in our materials, like 1.4301PA or 1.4404LA.

Clamping springs are often made from profiles of material 1.4310 in dimensions from 3.8 mm x 0.37 mm to 4 mm x 0.4 mm.

A high residual ductility during processing is important.

Applications are, for example, control cabinet terminals.

Optical image stabilizers (OIS) require a thermally stable material such as 1.4310FM with tight thickness tolerances. To enable the application of QR or barcodes on the final components, we have developed a non-directional surface finish on our strip products

The strip is characterized by:

• thermal stability
• low shrinkage in the production process when exposed to elevated temperature

Connectors require:

• constant holding force
• tight and reliable bending properties

Material 1.4310FS is often used. We supply this with a surface control to avoid flaking.

SMD stands for a surface-mounted device. Classic materials for stencils, solder paste, and adhesive stencils are 1.4310 and 1.4301.

• low tension
• targeted grain sizes – here, for example, a fine grain structure
• optimized flatness
